My blog consisting of my mind written out with zero regard to what anyone thinks. No conversations. Simply my mind.

Just political shit

Dear Blog Diary,
“If a tree falls in the woods and one person is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” - Me

That’s the times nowadays. Who’s full of shit and what’s their biased perspective? What can anyone really believe anymore? Then we read into what we say so much…I argue too much.

Gotta love the polarizing nature we live in where everything is more than what it is. I can’t say that Israel should be able to defend itself without me obviously supporting Palestinians getting bombed. I can’t say men deserve a little empathy without being a red pill, or women, then I’m a simp.

Then that premise becomes the entirety of your character and you need to be destroyed. Can’t just be pro-choice. Gotta go the whole way, or at least you gotta argue your opinion until they agree with you. That’s how you change the world.

I really like to think that 99% of what we see on socials are echo chambers that we create via algorithms, and it represents the extremes of society.

Saw Bill Maher. I adore this man’s perspective. Here’s a guy that will make fun of Fox News and then they use bits of him as he makes fun of the left. He had a whole bit essentially about how conservatives just hate poor people and liberals want you to respect that homeless guy shitting on your lawn as opposed to just ending poverty. California is weird.

Abilene Paradox: Basically when everyone goes along with the premise when no one wants the premise, but they do so because they think everyone else does favor it.

I see political parties kind of like that. It must be convenient to have a political party where everything they stand for aligns with your views. Really? All of them?

You know what I love about New York City?

No one cares.

You could wear a gimp suit decorated with Christmas cheer in July riding the train shouting the lyrics from Donna Summers “Bad Girls”…no one bats an eye. Be more like NYC.

Same time, it goes without saying that people are people, compassionate cold beautiful and ugly, but a tree could fall in New York and everyone would be around to hear it…and no ones cares.

Just be like one of the most iconic NYers of all time, Spike Lee. Do the right thing.
