Mile high
Dear Blog Diary,
I really don’t like listening to “Rocky Mountain High” by John Denver.
Listen to the lyrics. It really hurts me deeply.
I spoke with a creative director about a month ago. He complimented me in that I have a very clear vision of how I want to be living my life, and most people don’t.
I agree with him, and I’d say I always have. It’s always a launch problem with me as opposed to design.
You wonder, what the fuck is going on?
Fast and the furious. Started out stealing DVD players and stereos, then over time there’s a worldwide crisis and they need Dom Torreto to save the day? Taking a car into space. Jumping out of cars on the highway catching people.
Jurassic Park. First one discusses humanity’s capacity to play god, the morality of it, the majestic power to create something beautiful and the imperfection and consequences of that creation.
Apparently in the new one, they’re now fighting mutant dinosaurs???
God bless Zemeckis for dying on the hill that there will never be a Back to the Future remake/sequel.
I think I just miss the mountains. There is a peace I have when Kuma and I are mile high. Kinda like basic girls that lose their shit over any beach.
Sidenote: Holy shit it’s too hot out. God I hate summer.
Take me home to the place I belong (not West Virginia).
Best,
E
